This course is designed to provide professional drivers with the skills and confidence to administer first aid in emergency situations while on the road.
Drivers attending this course will also receive a 3 year Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate. The dual certification is subject to passing a practical and a written assessment.
Drivers who are not willing or able to participate during the practical elements will still achieve the 7 hours DCPC upload but will not receive the relevant Awarding Organisation First Aid certificate.

For vocational drivers wishing to take 35 hours of periodic training to keep their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence.
We recommend learners are a minimum of 14 years of age. However, Centres will need to assure themselves that learners, whatever their age, are physically capable of completing the practical assessment. It is also advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in English.
